Thank you to everyone who participated in our first ever early childhood art exhibition at the State Transportation Building. The exhibit closes September 7 and will come down September 8.

Massachusetts Amazing Emerging Artists Exhibition
MAEA is sponsoring a juried art exhibit for high school students, grades 9 – 12, open to MAEA members only. Entries reflect original artwork from students in public and private schools. The exhibition will coincide with the Youth Art Month exhibit at the Massachusetts Transportation Building with an awards ceremony on February 11, 2018.

NAHS chapter sponsors are invited to submit their NAHS student work for the annual NAHS exhibit Taking Shape at Hampshire College, Amherst in conjunction with the 2017 MAEA conference Shaping Human Potential.

2017 Massachusetts High School Photography Exhibit
High School Photography/Altered Images Exhibit
MAEA is continuing our series of art education exhibitions in the second floor atrium/gallery space at the State Transportation Building in Boston. High school educators are invited to submit up to 10 pieces of student work focused around the medium of photography. New this year, work submitted can be straight digital or film photographs, or pieces that have been altered in some way, for example via digital manipulation or collage.
The exhibit will open on Monday, October 6. It will hang until Friday, November 17.
The exhibit will be open Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The State Transportation Building is not open on weekends and holidays.

“ART EDUCATORS OF MASSACHUSETTS” MAEA SUMMER JURIED EXHIBIT
You’ve shared your students work, now it’s time to share what you’ve been creating. Active and retired art educators working in Massachusetts are invited to submit their 2D and 3D artwork for the annual summer juried exhibit “Art Educators of Massachusetts.” This exhibit opportunity is free to MAEA members. The jury for the exhibit will be art educators who are members of the Massachusetts Art Education Association Board.
