Camps Pembroke (MA), and Camp Tevya (NH), non-profit, Jewish cultural camping for children, ages 8- 15, welcome qualified candidates for Heads of Arts and Crafts.
Both seasonal position oversees, supervises, and evaluates the arts & crafts staff and program including all arts & crafts electives and bunk activities periods; opens and closes arts & crafts department including inventory reports, purchase requests, and repair logs. Pre-camp preparation is required. Qualifications: 1-3 years in a leadership role as Assistant Head of Arts & Crafts or Head of Arts & Crafts at a day or residential camp, experience supervising, leading and organizing an arts & crafts program including skills to organize an age appropriate and project-based arts & crafts activities program. Bachelor degree preferred. Candidates with majors in education, art education, applied art, or recreation encouraged to apply.
