High School Ceramics Teacher: Long-Term Substitute – St. John’s Prep is seeking a long-term, high school substitute teacher of Ceramics to cover a family leave from February 28 – May 31, 2022. Fine Arts teachers in the High School at St. John’s teach five sections and may be assigned an additional supervisory duty. Classes meet five times within a seven-day rotating schedule.

Welcoming qualified candidates for Heads of Arts and Crafts for Camp Pembroke – All Girls(MA), and Camp Tel Noar – Co-Ed(NH). Both camps are non-profit, cultural camps for children, ages 8- 15.

Oversee and supervise the arts & crafts staff and program including all arts & crafts electives and bunk activities periods. Pre-camp preparation is required.

Qualifications: leadership role as Assistant Head of Arts & Crafts or Head of Arts & Crafts at a day or residential camp, experience supervising, leading and organizing an arts & crafts program including skills to organize an age appropriate and project-based arts & crafts activities program. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Candidates with majors in education, art education, applied art, or recreation encouraged to apply.

Art Teacher for After School Art Classes – Carlisle 


Art Instructor – Vineyard Artists, Lexington, MA

Vineyard Artists is recruiting an artist and with the same philosophy as ours to accompany 4-12 year olds on their arts learning journey. The classes will be conducted in person at Vineyard Artists location.

Summer Camp

● Onsite class: 430 Marrett Rd, Suite 1, Lexington, MA 02421 (car needed)
● Date: 7/12 – 7/16, 12:30 – 6:00 pm
● Class Size: 8 students between 5 -10 years old
● Compensation: $140/day ($700 total)

Art Classes

● Onsite Class: 430 Marrett Rd, Suite 1, Lexington, MA 02421 (car needed)
● Saturday afternoon 1-2:30 and 3-5:30; 1 or 2 classes during weekday after school
● Class Size: 4-8 students
● Age Group: mostly 5-7 and 8-12

Rehearsal for Life
Teaching Artist, Urban Improv (2021-22 School Year)

This position requires passion for creative youth development, and extensive practice of applied theatre,
social-emotional learning skills, trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice. An Urban Improv
Teaching Artist will have experience in performances for youth audiences, working with disinvested
communities, generating multi-media content through live and digital platforms. Applicants should reflect the
student body served who are from predominantly Black, Brown and Global Majority communities. Rehearsal
for Life is an equal opportunity employer.

Position status: Part-time, non-exempt (.294 FTE)
Salary: $24,000/yr (additional income from commissioned work and assembly performances available)

Benefits: Competitive benefits package, including health care and 403b plan
Schedule: ~17 hrs week for 36 weeks, September 7, 2021 through June 9, 2022: Tues-Fri, generally between the hours of 9am-2:30pm ET

Location: Greater Boston area
