Free Admission to the MFA
The MFA is grateful for all that educators do — especially this year! — to engage and support their students. We are excited to share a new promo code for K-12 educators in New England that grants free general admission to the MFA! Go to https://www.mfa.org/tickets to reserve your tickets. Select a date, select general admission or add a special exhibition $5, and once on the new page you can enter your promo code on the upper right. Please be sure to only share this code with your K-12 colleagues!
MFA Distance Learning
Connect students to art and the MFA through free 30-minute live interactive programs for students on topics including Ancient Egypt, Monet, and the exhibition “Basquiat and the Hip-Hop Generation.”
Hello! How do I get the promo code to buy the tickets?
Hi Amanda, The MFA has switched back to in person ticketing for all special offers, including the K-12 teacher discount.
This is what the MFA just shared with me:
Free Admission for New England K–12 Teachers
K–12 educators in school, after school, or community settings in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont can receive one free general admission ticket or $7 special exhibition entry when they show their school ID at any ticket desk. Please check the Special Offers section in Tickets for more details.
Online purchases and advance tickets not available for this discount. Retired teachers and home school educators are not eligible. Offer not valid Wednesdays 3–4 pm or in advance.
If you have questions, I can connect you with Emily Scheinberg, Head of Educator & Professional Development at the MFA.
