Shady Hill School is seeking a Digital Photography Teacher for our 7th and 8th grade Arts Electives program. Each class will meet Tuesdays from 8:25am – 10:00am and Thursdays from 10:25am – 11:10am. Classes will run for 1 trimester (approximately 11 weeks). Teachers may be hired for the full year or term-by-term. Classes will consist of 9 students. This position requires an educator who is confident using Canon DSLR cameras and the Apple Photos program. They should be familiar with a wide range of photography genres and styles, as well as experience working with students of mixed experience and abilities. Specific curriculum will be designed by the teacher but may include portraiture, action photography, still life, photography history and vocabulary, visual storytelling, and more.
