Mass Cultural Council Creative Experiences support three-day-plus residencies that bring students and teachers together with practicing artists, scientists, and humanists to create rich cultural experiences. These residencies help youth build confidence, discover hidden talents, explore the natural world, understand their place in history, and rise as leaders in their community. Deadline late April each year.

Mass Cultural Council – Local Cultural Council Grants – Mass Cultural Council funds and manages a network of 329 Local Cultural Councils (LCCs) across the state, representing every city and town in the Commonwealth. Each council awards money based on individual community cultural needs, assessed and set by LCC members. Applicants apply directly to local councils. Deadline mid October each year.
- Schacht Tools for Schools – Annual equipment grant of up to $3000 for educating people in spinning and weaving. Deadline March 1 of each year.

Bay State Educator Award – All Educator Innovation Award nominees who teach in Massachusetts will be automatically considered for the Bay State Educator Award, a special recognition to celebrate those who exemplify creativity and stewardship in their work with young people in the Commonwealth. One winner will receive a $500 cash award plus a $250 classroom grant ($750 total prize package). July 1 deadline.
