If you are a secondary educator, we hope you will join our Media Arts Roundtable Discussion on Thursday October 8 at 6:30 pm on Zoom. This roundtable discussion is meant for secondary art educators who teach computer arts or digital arts. Our intention is to bring these educators together in an informal manner to discuss the transition into the 2020 school year. We hope to share and discuss ideas, strategies, and pedagogy for the media arts in either a remote model or in-person model with the various COVID-19 health and safety protocols in place.
The co-facilitators of this session are Alyssa Taranto, MAEA Media Arts Representative and Visual Art Educator at Franklin High School and Angela Wong, Visual Art Educator at Natick High School.

I’d love to join in but the registration link does not work. I am finding it difficult to teach my media arts classes with the limited resources I have this school year and would love to see what others are doing in their virtual classrooms.
Thank you for letting us know Nick. When I copied this over from our last roundtable, I forgot to update the registration! It should be all set now.
Thank you for organizing this online event 🙂
Hi There
Obviously I am late to the table for this event but wondered if the event was recorded?
I would love to see what everyones response is to the difficulty of media arts in Covid times!
Hi Mary Anne, Unfortunately, the session was not recorded. I just followed up with Alyssa and Angela to share the Google Drive folder they put together for the session, so they should share that with you soon.
