YOUTH ART MONTH | WORCESTER
YAM AT WAM
Worcester Art Museum
March 7 - April 2, 2018
In addition to the MAEA statewide YAM exhibit to be held at the Transportation Building in Boston, Youth Art Month will be celebrated at the Cotuit Center for the Arts on Cape Cod, in Berkshire County and the Worcester Art Museum will host a Central Massachusetts regional exhibit for those in the greater Worcester area. This means students will have the opportunity to participate in up to four exhibits this year all over the state!
These are wonderful opportunities to make the public aware of the importance of quality art programs in our schools!
The exhibit will be open to the public Wednesday, March 7 through Monday, April 2 in the Higgins Education Wing. Admission to this exhibit is free.
Opening Reception: Sunday, March 11, 2018, 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.
Young artists will be recognized for their creative work, with the opportunity to view the exhibition, meet other area artists and teachers, and enjoy a guest speaker and student musical performances.
